Quran Class Fees for UK and USA Students

If you're looking at Quran class fees, you probably want two clear answers: what will it cost each month, and what do we actually get for that money?

This page is the honest version. Quran Specialist Online teaches live one-to-one Quran lessons for UK and USA families. Classes run on Zoom or MS Teams, usually for about 30 minutes. There are no group classes, no recorded courses sold in bulk, and no card required for the free trial.

What your fee pays for

Every paid plan includes:

  • Live one-to-one lessons with a qualified teacher
  • Lessons of about 30 minutes (gentler pacing for little ones when needed)
  • A place on Zoom or MS Teams — both are free to download
  • A teacher who listens to every letter and corrects mistakes as they happen
  • The option to request a female Quran teacher for sisters, daughters and younger children
  • Parents welcome to sit in on every lesson

You are not paying for a video library or a shared class of ten children. You are paying for your child's (or your own) teacher's full attention, several times a week.

Our Quran learning path

We specialise in live one-to-one Quran reading and memorisation. This is what we offer now:

What we do not offer as separate courses right now

  • Tafsir as a standalone course
  • Full Arabic language or grammar programmes
  • Alim / Darse Nizami pathways

If you need something outside this path, ask us honestly at the trial. We will say clearly what we can and cannot deliver.

UK plans (GBP)

Live 1-to-1 · about 30 minutes · billed monthly in pounds

Plan Lessons / week Price / month
Starter 2 £30
Steady 3 £40
Plus 4 £50
Intensive 5 £60

USA plans (USD)

Live 1-to-1 · about 30 minutes · billed monthly in dollars

Plan Lessons / week Price / month
Starter 2 $35
Steady 3 $48
Plus 4 $60
Intensive 5 $70

Which plan fits which family?

Starter (2 lessons a week) suits a gentle start: a young child trying Qaida for the first time, an adult easing back into reading, or a household that already has a busy weekend class and wants extra one-to-one practice.

Steady (3 lessons a week) is the plan many families settle on. Three short lessons keep the last one fresh without taking over the week.

Plus (4 lessons a week) helps when your child is building fluency in Tajweed, or when Hifz needs more frequent new lesson and revision.

Intensive (5 lessons a week) is for Hifz students and learners who want daily structure. It is still about 30 minutes a session — serious, but not a marathon.

There is no single “right” plan. Start with the week you can keep. A plan you keep for three months beats an Intensive plan that collapses after a fortnight.

Family discount — 10%

When more than one person in your family learns with us — two children, a mother and a daughter, or siblings at different levels — a 10% family discount may apply. Each learner still has their own one-to-one lesson at their own level. Message us on WhatsApp when you book and we'll work out the numbers for your household.

The 7-day free trial (no card)

Before you pay anything, you can try a full week.

  • No payment

Use the week to answer three quiet questions: Does my child (or do I) feel calm with this teacher? Does the time of day work in real life? Can we see a small step of progress?

If the answer is no, you stop. Nothing is owed for the trial.

How classes work day to day

  1. You book the trial and share ages, levels and preferred times.
  2. We match a teacher (male or female, as you prefer) and a slot in UK time or your US time zone.
  3. You join on Zoom or MS Teams from a laptop, tablet or phone.
  4. The lesson is live and one-to-one — never a recording.
  5. After the trial, you choose a monthly plan only if it feels right.

UK families: after-school, evening and weekend slots in UK time (GMT/BST). USA families: after-school, evening and weekend slots across Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time. See our UK classes hub, USA classes hub, and city pages such as London, Birmingham, New York and Houston.

What fees do not cover

  • Travel — there is nowhere to drive; we are online only
  • A shared group class
  • Guaranteed Hifz completion dates (we do not promise those)
  • Standalone Tafsir, full Arabic grammar, or Alim pathways

A note on trust

We are a small online academy. On Google we have a rating of 4.76 out of 5 from 6 reviews. That is the figure we will stand by — we will not invent student counts or polished testimonials here.

You can also read our safeguarding page before you book.

Questions parents ask us

What's included in the monthly fee?

Live one-to-one lessons of about 30 minutes on Zoom or MS Teams, with a qualified teacher. The fee is for the number of lessons a week on your plan: Starter (2), Steady (3), Plus (4) or Intensive (5).

Are UK and USA prices the same?

No. UK plans are £30–£60 a month in pounds; USA plans are $35–$70 a month in dollars.

Is there a discount for siblings?

Yes. When more than one person in your family learns with us, a 10% family discount may apply. Ask on WhatsApp when you book and we'll explain how it works for your household.

Do I need to pay for the free trial?

No. The 7-day free trial needs no payment and no card details. You only choose a paid plan if the week feels right for your child or for you.

Can I change how many lessons we have later?

Tell us what you need and we'll talk through the options. Families often start on Starter or Steady and move up once the routine settles.
